Lord Ganesha - Emboss Painting

Emboss Painting on a velvet cloth

Painting is a mode of creative expression. In my childhood I was crazy about paper crafts. Thus I have started first with the paper crafts. It is not whenever I get time but I am always in the middle of paper or cardboard pieces making some art from my own creativity. It was like where ever I move from within my home there will be a piece of paper in my hand.

Later my schooling started, I was little frustrated because my time for paper craft had overtaken by the burden of studies at school. Fuck my mind do you think it will allow me to do it up all finely. But my parents always brought me back to studies and thus came to a break up with my origami arts.

Years passed I became a high school student. By the time I got an emboss painting kit which made me remember my childhood creativity but my parents insisted me not to loose concentration on my studies because of the painting. So I didn't get much
time or I didn't spend even for the same. But time came and I started all once again.I got many more art kits and started working on it.

As my work goes on I have decided to expose it through blogs. As this was my first blog post I start with a Lord Ganesha Emboss Painting.

                               'Aum Gam Ganapatye Namah'

This is Lord Ganesha's mula ("root") mantra .It is also known as his ''beej'' Mantra. This mantra is used for Yoga Sadhana in which we pray to Lord Ganesha and merge ourself with the supreme knowledge and peace. This is a mantra from Ganapati Upanishad. One can always use it before starting any new venture so that success comes without any hassle. ... om om om ...

Something about Emboss painting is that it is basically carving a design on a surface such that it appears to be raised. It can be done on harder surfaces like an aluminium foil or softer and more flexible surfaces like a cloth. My Ganesha painting is on a velvet cloth. It took much patience from for sitting a long hour and painting it to that neatness and perfection.
